The Warm Springs Reservation permit system has undergone some significant changes this year, and it’s important for visitors to be aware before planning their trip.

First, there are now new changes in place for camping at various locations within the reservation. Camping is now permitted at Trout Lake without fishing and requires a fee of $20 per night.

In addition, the Sherars Falls pay tubes have been removed, and all sales for permits are now conducted online only. This means that visitors will need to purchase their permits in advance, rather than being able to do so on site.

Camping at Indian Park and Sherars is now also $20 per day. And if you’re planning on just spending the day at Sherars, please be aware that the same $20 fee is required for day use at Sherars.

Boaters should also be aware of a new fee structure at Warm Springs Reservation. The boater fee is now $5 per person, per site.

Day use fees are also now in effect at Harpham Flat and Sandy Beach, at a cost of $5 per person, per day.

Also add in 7 day lead time for reservations. Non-reserved on-site permits may be available on first come, first serve basis.

Proof of purchase is now also allowed with electronic devices, as long as you have matching picture identification.

Overall, there have been a number of changes to the permit system at Warm Springs Natural Resources Managed Areas this year, and it’s important to be aware of them before planning your trip. By familiarizing yourself with the new rules and fees, you can ensure that your visit goes smoothly and you have a great time at this beautiful and unique location.
