Lake Simtustus (Area 3)

 

LAKE SIMTUSTUS

Open all year for trout, kokanee, smallmouth bass and northern pikeminnow.

(A) Daily Bag Limit

(1) Trout: 5 trout, 8-inch minimum length, no more than 1 fish over 20 inches.

(2) Closed to angling for bull trout.

(3) Bass: 5 bass, no more than 3 over 15 inches.

(4) Kokanee are considered to be trout in the bag limit.

(B) Open all year for trout, kokanee, smallmouth bass and northern pikeminnow.

(C) Camping available at Indian Park, fishing permit not required.

(D) Personal watercraft including but not limited to, boats, jet skis, wave runners, and wet jets, are prohibited from landing on the Reservation side of Lake Simtustus except at Indian Park.

(E) All campers are required to remain within designated campgrounds. Trespassing outside of fenced boundary is prohibited.

(F) Motorbike and ATV riding and possession of firearms are prohibited.

(G) Dogs must be kept on a leash.

(H) Water skiing, including boarding and tubing, permitted only in designated area north of Pelton Park store.

(I) Speed limits on Lake Simtustus must be obeyed.

(J) No wood cutting or gathering allowed.

(K) CRAYFISH HARVEST IS PROHIBITED BY NON-TRIBAL MEMBERS.

A fee of $15.00 per day will be charged to camp at Indian Park (located on the West Bank of Lake Simtustus). The pay station is located at the entrance of the campground.

No RV hookups are provided.
